I need help with my standard definition capture card.?
I have purchased a easycap but have not been using it because of some issues. I use the component cable set to standard definition to split the signal to my tv and capcard. I connect the component cables to my tv and composite to the capcard. ( I get sound through an optical cable) My issue is that I have response problems with this method. The signal going to the tv seems to be a bit delayed. The tv screen does not seem to be exactly in tune with the output of the controller. It looks fine when I see it on the capture card end when viewing it on the laptop. What can I do to increase the responsiveness/ better feedback? It is hard enough playing in standard def on a full high defintion tv, but this latency issue makes things even worse. Do I need to split the composite signal or SHOULD the method I have been using be proper? I would also like to know how to get s-video input into my capcard. I have seen people on youtube do it and get better quality on it than composite but I do not know how to do this with an xbox 360 and tv that does not have s-video output. Thanks for the help in advance. I would like to start commentating games on my youtube channel but some things like this are holding me back at the moment.
