Stomach cramps? (girls please?)?

im on my period and i hate major stomach cramps. i don't get cramps on my period. this is unusual for me. i have taken children's motrin (with ibuprofen) but it doesnt seem to help. what should i take to rid the cramps? they really hurt and i cant move to far otherwise i feel like i have to throw up
