Why is my uper chin and lower cheek numb?

First I would like to say thanks for the answers! :) Anysways my uper chin and lip on the right side is numb and I wanna know why. I havent gone to the dentist in a mouth or any hospital just so you know I didnt get a novocaine shot. My tooth started hurting around 6 pm last night so I took one IBuprofen 800 MG then an hour later I took hydrocodon then after 1 or 2 hours later it still felt a little pain so I took another IBuprofen then after 2 or 3 hours I took another one before bed. Then when I woke up I felt numbness ever since and I still feel it now. It said on the pill container I should only take one every 6 hours too. Maybe I took to much?
