I got a Dazzle HD recorder?

I got it for Christmas, and I JUST realized that it was the "Plus HD" version lol. I've been using the standard cables to record lately, and on a HDTV with 1080p abilities, it looks horrendous. So if I don't have to deal with it like this, it would make things a lot easier. Does anyone know the difference in what I am supposed to do though? Since it's the HD version, how do I actually PLAY in HD.
